Cha Cha’s of Coney Island

We’re fans of their tacos, the eclectic mix of people, the live music (or, if you’re lucky, the Freak Show) and the frozen drinks.  Spend too much time here and you won’t remember a thing.

Ruby’s

Grab a seat on the boardwalk and enjoy amazing people watching and cold beer.  Or, pay tribute to this Coney institution and enjoy a cold beer inside with the friendly bartender.

Pine Tree Lodge

If you’re into taxidermy and cheap happy hour beers served by attractive and friendly bartenders in a very chill and quiet atmosphere, than this is your new home!

The Trash Bar

If you’re into punk or hardcore metal music, than this should be your go to neighborhood dive bar.  Settle into an old car seat with a PBR and enjoy your evening.

Uncle Vanya

Small, intimate and slightly dark restaurant makes a good introduction to Russian cuisine. Try the Blini with Red Caviar and the Golubtsy and an ice cold Cezch beer.

Gaf West

This is a local bar full of locals and the bartenders Pete and Pat are the best!  We enjoyed a few cold ones, a few games of darts and erotic photo hunt!

Hibernia

If you’re a Steelers fan, then this is your home during football season.  Everyone else, come for the friendly atmosphere, the cold beer, the sports on TV and the delicious wings!

Perdition

We’re big fans of this upscale dive bar and their amazing happy hour deals - $3 mugs of beer and $12 pitchers!

The Pony Bar

This beautiful bar serves up hard to find American craft beer – they pour sample-sized servings for $5 each, so you can try them all.  The food is solidly good too.

Landmark Tavern

Hop nob with Ad men and womem from Olgivy (their offices are next door) as you drink a Guinness (or two) and enjoy delicious fish & chips.

P&G Bar

One of our favorite dive bars around – and a perfect meeting spot after a softball game in Central Park.  The beer is cold, the service prompt and they’ll let you order in pizza!

The Dead Poet

Best little pub to catch whatever game is on TV (they’ll gladly change the channel for you) while enjoying a perfect Guinness with a surprisingly delicious Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

Bayard’s Ale House

A grown-up bar that is perfect to sit, relax and have a few beers (the list is extensive) and the bar food is pretty delicious.  Try the soup of the day or the combo platter.

The Other Room

One of our favorite bars for a low-key drink or a romantic rendezvous with a hefty wine selection and an extensive list of beers!

Rusty Knot

Unique Nautical-themed, out of the way tiki-bar that serves up kitsch, cheap beer, pretzel dogs and their specialty Rusty Knot.
