Frank’s Cocktail Lounge

We love the split personality of this place – enjoy stiff drinks and sexy jazz downstairs, or head upstairs for equally stiff drinks and bumpin’ hip-hop.

 

Nublu

A really fun spot to dance, catch a live show and have a few too many drinks!  Just be warned that there’s a cover and that the bathrooms aren’t too nice.

 

Pacha NYC

This is this place in NYC to dance to four floors of house music.  Reduced admission before midnight and to those 21 or older.  Drinks are EXPENSIVE and the ATM charges a whopping $9 fee!

 

Retreat Lounge

On the right night, you can really have a good time at this dark and cozy dance den.  On other nights, you’ll be battling teenagers for a place on the dancefloor.

 

El Cantinero

Skip the food and go straight to the second floor for the all night Happy Hours on Monday and Thursdays where you can dance to Bachata and Salsa – the crowd is a bit older.

 

The Ritz

Fun nautical themed bar with outdoor drinking up front, a dance-floor in the back and on the second floor on weekends.  Relaxed and cheap happy hour during the week.

 

The Monster

A relaxed pub featuring a dance floor downstairs, piano bar entertainers upstairs and the best bartenders slinging cheap happy hour drinks and frozen margaritas.

 

The Stonewall Inn

Historic birth place of the gay rights movement and a great place for a 2-4-1 Happy Hour special, a diverse crowd, friendly bartenders and dancing upstairs.

 

Velvet Rope Lounge

Kick back and enjoy very strong drinks inside the faux stone walls of this Russian lounge. Thursday is Karaoke night, and enjoy the dancers on the weekends.

 

Soiree

Good crowd and DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. It’s a nightclub, so expect expensive drinks and tough bouncers. Check out the Alt.Oscar party!

 

Town Hall Mirror Ballroom

Channel your inner Fred and Gingers by signing up for swing dancing lessons on the fourth Saturday of every month from 7pm to Midnight.

 

Europa Club

Hike from the G-Train to drink cheap drinks, enjoy the newest indie band or dance until you drop.  Plan ahead to avoid a “dead” night.

Fantastic space to see your favorite indie band, grab a few drinks or dance the night away. Not a bad vantage point in the place.

 

Taverna Opa

Belly dancers shimmy around the restaurant to thumping music, and patrons hop on the tables to dance as the night wears on. Get a starter of pita bread with hummus, taramasalata and tzatziki.

Every Tuesday enjoy 10 Cent Wings, $3 Shot Specials, $4 Beer Specials and Beer Pong! There’s room for dancing too! Colorado Buffs fans love it here.
